Bitcoin Vietnam Co. Ltd., the Vietnam’s bitcoin exchange, has set a partnership with Coinify ApS so they can together provide a blockchain merchant processing platform to Vietnam. Such tool is about to enable Vietnamese entrepreneurs to receive payments in cryptocurrency as well, like bitcoin and sixteen other, which are processed by Coinify.
All such payments will have to be converted to the Vietnamese currency – dong. Such option provide wider scale of payment options to customers, while it brings more security against frauds. Moreover, this platform will provide integration with websites of entrepreneurs, as well as it is about to support point of sale (POS) application tailored for brick and mortar shops.
The CEO of Bitcoin Vietnam and one of the aprtners, Nguyen Tran Bao Phuong, stated: “Bringing the option of receiving blockchain payments to Vietnamese merchants will dramatically improve the lack of trust and security which are swirling around legacy payment options like credit cards, Paypal and similar offerings.
