Popular Bloomberg terminals for trading and market news went down on Friday around 3:20am ET for three-four hours, having impact on deals around the world.
Bloomberg LP, providing data analysis, market news portals, chart, etc under Bloomberg Professional, informed CNBC on Friday that his terminals were off globally. Bloomberg added that it is now investigation the reason for such problems.
“We are currently restoring service to those customers who were affected by today’s network issue and are investigating the cause,” a spokesman for Bloomberg stated.
The company has approximately 315,000 subscribers across the globe.
