The forex broker FXCM Inc has informed about the release of couple of new features or tools for the traders to be found on its trading platform – FXCM Trading Station
These new features are:
‘Smart Margin’ Watcher. This new FXCM tool will now enable the U.S. clients to see the date and time when their account reaches the Margin Warning. This new instrument was designed for the traders to inform them in advance of margin calls of such situation, providing them time to take appropriate action to save their account and funds.
Weekend Simulation. You won’t miss trading even during the weekend. Now the traders will be able to replay all the market data at real or accelerated speed even during the weekends. So they will be able to test out a strategy, check how indicators work and all of this during closed market hours (this is naturally possible also during the working days). No credentials shall be put in, you can freely check it.
Intelligent Symbol List Window. Whenever the traders are looking for a new instrument, this feature is here to help them. This new Symbol List feature will provide them with a possibility to find instruments more quickly, either through scrolling down the list of tradable instruments, or by typing the instrument name into the search bar (e.g. Gold or XAU).
JavaScript Support. Now the traders will be able to script their indicators, alerts and strategies in JavaScript.
MetaQuotes Changes MT4 Chat Interface
Already implemented changes for the MT5 app for iOS were now performed also on the latest MT4 for iPhone or iPad from the trading platform developer MetaQuotes.
All the push notifications from the desktop platform of the MQL5.community are about to be displayed on the MT4 app as chats, very similar to those used in popular messaging apps.
Furthermore, traders will be able to switch to any of the 22 available languages on MT4 now, straight from the platform. Users can select a preferred language in the settings without changing the device language.
